BlogTonight Enorym, Stavos and I went to Best Buy to look at electronics and wound up harassing a cashier about my open-item purchase. After that we went to Dunhams sports and I found a Turbo Sled! Of course this required an immediate trial, so at 8:30pm in a pitch black park we made several trips down a sledding hill. It truely was a turbo sled. After 4 close calls with a tree, and almost breaking my tailbone we called it a night.
I have. She's my girlfriend.
Lastnight, around 2:00am, I suddenly heard a loud voice say "near the phone jack, where the computer is sitting." It came from my computer speakers which I had left powered on after I turned the computer off. I've heard it before, but usually between 9:00pm and 10:00pm. This was the first time I heard it so late (early). The first few times I thought it was just CB traffic from the main road somehow interfering with my speakers. Lastnight and the time before I clearly heard the exact same phrase. This ruled out the random CB interference. I still have no idea what's causing it, but I'm assuming some radio frequency somewhere is creating it. If not I'm either under surveillance, or going insane. I decided to build a snowman and light up some torches to drive out the demons in my speakers.
Bored at work,
Myrone and I began IM'ing each other back and forth about my Interweb. Our
conversation became fairly detailed, and eventually also involved
Stavos. He was a perpetrator of false information on my Interweb, so I had to send the spear of angryness to his processor. If that doesn't make sense I wouldn't recommend reading the conversation.
After realizing my inflatable snowman cost almost $10 a month in electricity I quickly pulled the plug on him.
The other snowman was all alone until I arrived home from my new years party when I had an uncontrollable urge to hit something with my truck. Fortunately the remaining snowman (already half melted) made an excellent target. He was also the least likely to file a lawsuit, or claim grievances against me. My yard is once again sans snowmen.
Here is a photo of the murder scene.
In case you missed my other update, I've been playing
Warcraft III alot during the holiday break. More than I should be. I'm finally at the point where I'm starting to win as many as I lose, so I keep spending more and more time playing it. It's a viscious addictive cycle that I can't break free of. You can watch my
character progress on battle.net. I've decided that if my win/lose ratio dips below 25% I'll get frustrated enough to quit. Wish me luck.
Today was good packing snow, so naturally I had to build a
snowman. This particular snowman is in the likeness of
Soulfly since he suggested I needed a real snowman to replace my inflatable one. Instead, I put the real one in a suggestive position with regards to the blowup one. The blue thing "Soulfly" is holding represents his "relaxed lifestyle" involving "natural stimulants." The person in my doorway is my girlfriend, who helped out getting the face to look so lifelike. Enjoy.
As you can see from the
Gnome Cam it snowed almost 3 inches today. Since I had to drive from my girlfriends, to my dads, to my moms, I was ready to have some fun. Unfortunately nearly all the roads were cleared off by the time I left. My dad's subdivision and my moms apartment complex were the only two places I had any fun. Afterwards, I played almost 3 hours of
Warcraft III online. Try as I might, I just can't stop playing until either my hand falls asleep, or I start zoneing out (this time it was zone out). I Wound up losing 5 matches, but winning 3. Better than my last session, so I marked it up as "Improving", which calls for more game time!
A new "Search" option now appears in the left column. Enter a search term and it will return results limited to pages on this server. The search uses Googles new "Host Specific" feature. I also updated the website icons to the new XP style, and reworked the webcam so it displays the latest capture even if Javascript is disabled.
I was watching the latest Kia Automotive commercial, and they feature a "Monkey Salesman." A smart move on their part since anything that involves a monkey gets attention. I don't care what it is, you'll be captivated if a monkey is present. Especially if they are dressed up in something. Searching for Monkey uses, I found
this website. For $25,000.00 you sponsor a monkey from birth through training. Once trained, they can do anything for you. Once I get the $$, I plan to have it cook/clean for me, as well as go to work and make money. Maybe as another "Monkey Salesman." In theory, once I make the initial investment, I shouldn't have to do anything ever again. A good sound retirement plan, without the expense of a 401k or IRA.
