BlogAfter upgrading my media player, I noticed I have 1337 items in my playlist totalling 6.66GB. This and many more
signs have convinced me I can no longer hide my true identity, I'm a L33t Devil Man!
From 10:34am - 1:16pm this server was unavailable due to maintenance work on the ISP that connects it to the internet.
Gnome cam and
Blacknova Traders continued to update during the outage. No other impact was observed (aside from mass panic experienced primarily by
this guy).
This weekend was "
Hamilfest," a yearly tradition of drag strip, camping, and drinking. It starts out with a bunch of Cougars at a drag strip in St. Thomas, Ontario, then progresses to camping at a Canadian park. Some beer and burgers are added to create the slap happy atmosphere. The end result of which is always entertaining. This year we were able to drive on a beach, which was hands down the most fun I've had in my Cougar.
My trusty truck is gone for good. I'll always remember the good times. The woman who bought him seemed like a responsible mother, so he's in good hands. Now I have to come up with a name for my
new truck
Joseph fled hurricane Frances and is currently staying in Hotlanta, but his house (and webcam) are riding out the storm. His live webcam was knocked offline which hopefully only means he lost cable or power. I'm confident his house will still be standing when he returns, for the great turn lane god watches over him and protects him even from the mighty FEMA.
The last
bonfire at my current house was tonight.
Lomar sacrificed a flamingo to the great fire god while listening to anti-brad songs.
My dad made me an offer on a new truck I couldn't refuse, so Optimus is ready to find a new home. Judging from the

Sitting at the desk in the hotel room where I'm staying during my ADO.net training I saw the white card exclaiming "Free High Speed Internet!" (which I'm consequently using). I have been using the connection for awhile now, but after reading these instructions I'm not sure I connected properly. Here are the instructions, as they appear on the card.
Instructions:
- Be configured for the L.A.N. Connection
- Have a Ethernet card for the L.A.N. Base
- Have a Cat. 5 Connection Cable (Cables are available at the front desk)
- Plug the Cat. 5 Cable into the orange jack

On August 30th, 1969 the very first node of the ARPANet was brought online at the University of California, Los Angeles. October 1st the second host was brought online at the Stanford Research Center. October 29th the first login attempt was made which crashed both systems involved. The ARPANet evolved and was eventually used almost exclusively by educational institutuions until the gopher protocol began to attract more mainstream users. Of course the biggest development was the introduction of the World Wide Web interface which was the engine that allowed for AOL and script kiddies to come into existance. As you may or may not know, this server is powering the next generation of the internet, known as the
interweb. It's time to choose sides.
With the last post in the ITAE forums dated over a year ago,
Stavos decided to re-ignite them. Not satisfied with letting him have all the fun, I redirected the forums to the last re-launched version:
AtomicDetroit Forums. While nobody knows if they will be a success or failure (this time),
JOSEPH has already signed up, suggesting it has the support of FEMA and all other hurricane survivors. If you're reading this and have a site hosted on this server,
go here and rave about how awesome the service is. Gratuitious ravings will recieve future discounts.
