My quest for a single device to do everything got closer to reality today when I hacked my access badge into my phone case. Sadly, HID won't allow any apps to copy their cards and use built-in NFC antennas because security, but this works just as well. With Verizon being jerks and blocking all wireless payment apps but their own ISIS wallet, it will probably be some time before I can replace my wallet. My dream of one day losing my phone and being unable to survive in any way is still alive though, with payment and car keys my only remaining pieces of the puzzle.
