Having made several trips to the zoo already this year, one might wonder what I could possibly do differently this time. The answer is, accomplish my mission of the prarie dog experience. Despite our frequent trips, Lila consistently runs out of gas before making it to the section of the zoo where the prarie dogs are. That's why this visit I made a beeline for them, ignoring all the tempting adventures on the way. After fulfilling my dream, I did not feel the sense of accomplishment I was hoping for, and Lila was not nearly as excited as I'd hoped. My goal achieved, we continued on the zoo adventure until rain decided to dump out of the sky cutting our visit short.
