Our first trip to the zoo this year was uneventful, with the requisite peacock chase and merri-go-round. A followup trip with the Senator family resulted in more shenanigans thanks to an additional toddler and the unpredictible fits of Lila, including the apex fit when the face painter took back her mirror before Lila was done looking at the artwork. I made certain to use the same diaper changing area I had seen a lesbian couple use on our first visit, but was still unable to visit the famous prarie dog area with the bubble for kids to poke their heads in. I swear the next visit it shall be done!
