The now annual Morlock Boat Launch was restricted to local roads this year after last years highway debacle. The Morlock also decided to pay for a seasonal slip, meaning this was the only launch event of the year (and possibly ever, if he finds storage). It's a smart move for the Morlock, by not depending on me for transportation he can sneak off and harpoon Eloi from the boat without alerting me to his whereabouts. It was, of course, one of the windiest days of the year, and after the boat almost went adrift during launch, then crushed a few mooring poles, we finally made it to the slip mostly undamaged.
