At the bequest of Senator Kelley and Excelcier, another Jan LAN was proposed. Expecting only 4 people for a modest Starcraft match, it turned into a 12 person event with 10 concurrent players. My lack of planning left us with only FarCry, FarCry 2 and UT2K3 as game options, but it still managed to entertain. Both the Morlocks woman and Lisas mom got to experience a LAN party for the first time, scarring them permanently. The timelapse from the Gnome Cam and event photos are posted.

Don't forget the amazing amount of food supplied by your mother in-law and Lisa. That made all us nerds a bit more unattractive and bloated.

I think that's the key of LANs... lack of planning. Your planning of the last LAN resulted in the inability to retrieve games!

Although one of the best Lan parties consisted of just 3 of us... but this was fun. I hope it doesn't truly mark the end of the LAN parties.. sniff

I had a great time, even though i bitched about FarCry 2 most of the time. Really, I just suck at that game and waiting 20 seconds to respawn every time Marco pwn3d just twisted the knife.
