BlogMonobrow.com... that is all.
Apparently all hell broke loose at my cable provider over the holiday. This would explain the intermittent availability the last few days. The following is excerpted from

07/04/2003: 06:36 pm - Cable modem connectivity intermittent
The server will be up and down until
RoadRunner solves their connectivity issues. The recent storm may have knocked out service and since it's a holiday I don't expect it to be back soon. My solution: a Nukie party complete with
Nukie PizzaEnorym and I drove around Plymouth today, so I got some
great candid shots. Got some ice cream from Dairy King and went cruising for some action. Fortunately we didn't find any, so we called it a night.
6/26/2003: 07:06 pm - Server experienced a power outage.
6/27/2003: 09:33 am - Power is restored.
I was washing dishes when the power went out this time and it almost felt like a brownout. Lights dimmed, went out, came back, dimmed, then went out for good. UPS still has no battery, so the server was out the entire time.
Webcam and
Blacknova won't update until I can get home and start them up again. I pray every day that the UPS battery will arrive and save me from the electrical company whims.
My recent
needle miss caused a bruise that eventually turned into a head. Well, now my elbow has one as well. The first one is somewhat productive, sometimes writing code even. This new one is just pissed off and difficult to reason with. I hope I don't get anymore, after all: three's a crowd.
Enorym came over today to help me put my motorcycle back together, and
Stavos came over to test out his new
Aerobird RC Airplane. We managed to get the motorcycle carbeurators cleaned and mostly put back together, but the Aerobird met with a less fortunate fate.
Here are some photos we took during the adventures.
It's more dangerous than we all thought
Almost a week ago I had blood taken for analysis (The THRAX, SARS,
Monkey Pox, etc). Since then I've had a slowly expanding bruise on the inside of my right elbow. It doesn't hurt like a bruise, so I imagine my vein is just dumping blood into my skin until it's satisfied. Additionally, the water main at my work broke the night before and we were told not to drink the water. Unfortunately I got the email AFTER I finished a glass of it. So now my bruise might turn into an extra appendage which could be useful, or another head which could be annoying. At any rate, Heroin is more dangerous than we all thought.
