Yesterday, Ron was driving my Cougar around during Missy and I's visit to the great white north. Sitting in the passenger seat, my fuel pump noise seemed even louder so I decided it was time to change it. I now have a great deal more respect for Duane who was the original installer of the pump. The fuel pump is located where 4 fuel lines and 6 wires intersect in a 4"x6" area under the car. Just manuvering tools around is difficult. 1.5 hours and several curse words later it's finally changed and sounds much more healthy.

Glad I could help! Thanks for letting me drive the "SUPERCHARGER".
Hope Missy didn't hate the movie too much. Excelcier |
I'll be enjoying fuel pump fun soon, too. Glad I got to cut my teeth on your pimped ride. Duane |
Your hand will burn with the fire of fuel. I'm still getting high off the smell two showers later. AtomicInternet |

At what milage is it good to replace the fuel pump? Stavos |
This was the inline one for the supercharger, not my in-tank factory one. It sounded like it was going to go so I decided to be proactive. AtomicInternet |
