BlogLisas planned trip to her grandparents was extended another 340 miles so we could take in all that is
New York city. In the two days we had available we managed to hit
alot of attractions, including liberty island, ground zero, late show taping, central park, shea stadium, and times square, with my favorite attraction being the subway. My primary motivation for visiting was to see what was left of the
1964/5 Worlds Fair, and sadly there
wasn't much left. Of all the huge and optimistic pavilions that were constructed for the fair, only the Unisphere survived in tact. The New York Pavilion was the only other structure, which was left to rot, so I took it as my duty to collect a few souvenirs after breaking into the
Circarama. Here's what it
used to look like before it was left to die.
