Dear atomicinternet

WOW WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! PURCHASED ON 12/8/08, IT'S NOW 12/24/08 AND THE CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY DAUGHTER IS NO WHERE IN SIGHT. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF

- metroatd

Wow, all caps and 13 exclamation points. This message is obviously from a calm and intelligent person.

Dear metroatd

Sorry the game was late, hope you have it by now. I'm not sure how you paid on Dec 8th when the auction itself didn't end until Dec 12th, which is also when Paypal says you paid. You can see from the tracking label I shipped it out Dec 13th the very next day, so speak with the US Postal service about the delay. In future you should probably pay for something faster than parcel post if you have a deadline.

My initial response ignored the caps and excessive puncuation and attempted to bring it back to something civilized.

Dear atomicinternet

Let me start by telling you as of 10 am 12/31 the game is still not here. As far as when it ended maybe you should review your ad, it clearly ended on 12/8 at 9:49 pst and I paid for it immediately! You should also check your tracking number to see that the item left California on 12/23 and still has not been delivered. As far as recommending expedited delivery, you did not offer it in your ad, and if I had known it would take three weeks to get an item that was IN STOCK in MI not in CA to NY maybe I would have bought it locally and skipped the BS. Do you homework before you shift blame to the USPS or the customer!! You've got alot to learn. Or maybe you should just man up and apologize.

At least the all caps went away, and only two exclamation points this time. The California thing shocked me, but he only paid $3 for shipping. Of note here is he already answered his own problem by suggesting he should have bought locally. The fact that I shipped the item the very next day does not matter to him.

Dear metroatd

Man up? I want your phone number you arrogant ass. Are you even capable of reading modern gregorian dates? Dec 12-08 means DECEMBER 12TH 2008 NOT DEC 08 WITH AN EXTRA 12 THROWN IN FOR GIGGLES. Evidently you are capable of comprehending USPS tracking numbers and can clearly see it LEFT FROM MICHIGAN. Why did USPS decide to route through California? Apparently I'm responsible for that, as I personally determine USPS parcel post routing and logistics during snow storms. I guess that means I'm also responsible for the original estimated delivery of Dec 17th - Dec 29th which clearly put the potential for after christmas delivery pretty high. So to review, I've blame shifted to the customer by assuming you can understand how to read dates and shipping estimates, and blame shifted to USPS as I should have determined a better routing for the package AFTER IT LEFT MY HANDS AND WAS IN USPS POSSESSION. Perhaps you're blame shifting your poor decision to purchase a discounted item for a discounted shipping price and counting on it to arrive on time, but that would involve some self reflection which I'm confident you're incapable of. If I've pegged you properly the only take away you'll get from this entire message is that the USPS estimate that I DID NOT GENERATE was the 29th and here it is the 31st and still no game. Obviously it's a plot against you personally that I initiated and am in cahoots with the postal service just to make your present arrive late! The genius is I made it LOOK like I acted in good faith by shipping it THE VERY NEXT DAY. I'm also the one that FORCED YOUR HAND when you bought an item with parcel post shipping when I'm confident a faster (albeit more expensive) shipping auction was only a click away. Now why don't YOU man up and apologize for your astounding ignorance that required me to write this.

What can I say, I needed to throw some CAPS back at him. I felt much better after this reply.
