I see Queen+Paul Rodgers in concert!!!! The concert's going to be at The Palace on March 24!! Last night on Channel 56 they played the concert from the 'Return of The Champions' DVD, and it got me more excited to see them!! I don't have that DVD yet because I want to wait to see them live. I haven't been to a concert in years, so this is another reason why I'm excited. I may never go to another concert again, and that's fine with me, because I'm not a big concert goer.

I just came back from the concert a few hours ago,and it was great!!!! It rocked!!! Brian May loved us he said three times that we were a "f****** fantastic crowd" It was a nearly sold-out crowd, and everyone went nuts from the begining. My seat was awesome! It was right on the side of the stage, I was really close to Brian and Paul on a few ocassions during the show. I was also close to a fog machine but that didn;t bother me. As for the lighting it was awesome!! It went into so many elabrate styles, red, green, blue, and strob lighting during Radio Ga Ga. My favorite song they did live was Dragon Attack Paul Rodgers sang effortlessly! They didn't just sing Queen songs they did a few Bad Company songs as well "Feel Like Makin' Love", Alright Now are two of may favorites.

Unfortunitly, towards the end of the concert during WATC a fan was sick, and collapsed. Luckily she got medical attention and hopefully she'll be fine.

So the concert was awesome, and I even took a few videos of some songs and they look okay. The audio isn't that great but it still looks cool.

I can't wait until their new album 'Cosmos Rocks' comes out!!!

It's going to be released on the 28th, less than a week from now.

I got 'The Cosmos Rock' CD earlier yesterday afternoon, and I have to say it's awesome!! All the great Queen trademarks are there as well as some songs that are distinctly Paul Rodgers. My favorite songs off the album are; 'Surf's Up....School's Out', 'Cosmos Rockin', Still Burnin', and 'C-lebrity, are great rockers with that unmistakeable Queen sound. Songs like 'Small', 'We Believe', and 'Say It's Not True' are great ballads! 'Voodoo' is a blues-type song that is definetly a Paul Rodgers written track. Paul Rodgers has fit in well with Queen's style,as well as incorporating his own songwriting styles into the band, and his vocals are excellent. He can't surpass Freddie Mercury, but he is awesome in his own right.

This band has a fantastic chemistry together when they are live, and translated well onto this new album. I can't wait until I see them live again.
