I doubt we'll be able to make it. That's the weekend before my birthday, and since I will be at CanAm the weekend after, I'll probably spend the weekend with family, getting presents

Thanks for the invite though!

it's just as quiet as the average day at NECO. IT's been totally dead lately.

I've been busy at work lately, so I haven't had much time to post.

Where have YOU been? It's like you went MIA from NECO or something...

My weekend was okay. I had to go to a baby shower. Buy some stuff to make some jello for the surprise party on Saturday... The boat Ron and I crew on went in the water on Saturday, and the mast up yesterday. Nothing really exciting.

Our weekend was ok. Saturday we went to a photo & digital show at the international centre, then went to the mall, did some mother's day shopping, and Mike bought some glasses - now he looks uber smart!

Sunday I washed my car - its supposed to be nice all week

280/250!?! Those are some pretty amazing numbers for a Vortech!

Aren't they usually more like 250HP/200TQ?

Yep, good numbers indeed. The car could've been pushed harder, but they didn't want to break anything

Well, none yet... I know my mom is bringing me with her to Edmonton from May29th to June 4th, but thats for her sisters 50h birthday... :-/

Since ours are so close together, I'm thinking that we should try to have our own little neco-birthday party get together sometime! It would be great to see you, Mike and everyone, since we wont all be together for Cougarfest later on.

:)

A triple-birthday-bash? woot!
Then I can also have a girly moment with ya about how "omg awesome!" prison break is. :P

I know i'll probably be heading down to Windsor/Detroit near the end of June, just before cougarfest... Maybe a social gathering can be organised around then if the schedules allow it :)

oh, and I don't suppose I could coax you guys into a trip to Ottawa for a weekend eh? :lookround: heh!H

Time to catch up....my weekend, worked and went grocery shopping. 2 more weeks and I'll take the cougar out of storage only to rip it appart lol.

Matt, are you still doing a 3L swap this year?

Anyone wanna buy some SVT parts? lol

lol... i'd be doomed without the "remember my password" checkbox! :P

Originally I was kind of hoping to hear that "i can come down in May" for the 3L, but with Ryans car not quite ready, and then me heading out to EDM at the end of the month... and well, some bills... heh. May wasn't looking too good.

So now I'm hoping that Ryan and Jason can coordinate schedules so the 3L thats waiting for me, will be ready / go in before cougarfest (and I'll just stay down in the MI area, and caravan over with everyone to fest. :) - better than doing it this month, then having to drive 10 hours home on a new unbroken in engine. This way, if something needs to be checked, i'm surrounded by people who could probably build a cougar from scratch :)

All the pieces are accounted for... engine, clutch, flywheel, LSD... I just need a few things from the BATinc lsd-kit, and then its just a matter Jason being ready for me :)

oh - did you check your cougar parts warehouse for that tiny plastic peg? :lookround:

I looked....I know the damn thing is around somewhere, unless I gave it to Ron...but My room is a HUGE MESS...because when I moved out I just grabbed what I needed and left the rest in a pile on the floor, needless to say...it's in there somewhere. Madison was sick this weekend so I didn't get a chance to go through alot, I'll have more time Friday this week. I'll take another stab at it. Drop Ron a pm though and see if he still has the guage faces/odometer....I know it had those pins...I just have to find it.

Heh, i just picked up everything for the SVT Lite upgrade. I apparently still need the ATX throttle cable...longshot, I know, but just in case you had one around. I'm hoping to have it all together for Jaged's meet in a couple of weeks.

And, no, I'm not from Ontario. Hell, I'm not even in the MCs anymore. /troll.

CanAm is Sunday, June 3rd
If you're looking to stay for the weekend, some of us have booked rooms at the Niagara Falls Plaza Hotel.

As for CanAm itself, I think its the regular meeting spot

http://www.geocities.com/canamcruise/directions.html

It usually breaks up around 4 or 5

All the details are on NECO. You can check out the thread if/when it comes back up!

I know there's a website, but I can't remember the URL.

BAM!

http://www.geocities.com/canamcruise/

Don't pay attention to the dates, they're from last year. The rest of the info (location, etc.) is still good though.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a ton for the info! I wasn't sure where to find it other than on the cougar forum....

But I had to yell a rather loud "DOH!!"
I was going to say that even if I couldn't drive it (for whatever reason) I would hop on the train down to TO and get a ride with someone, but I don't get back till June 4th! grrrr~

What weekends are clear for you two this summer?
I know a wedding is the reason why you won't be making it to Cougarfest, but what about the one or two weekends before that? :)

My buddy is getting married the weekend of 'fest... and i'm the best man. There's no getting outta that one!
