 AtomicInternet Tranny Reinstall April 8th
I'm setting it tentatively for this date. In addition to providing free food and drink, I'll also do your taxes for you if you stop by and help out! (Seriously I will, I'm damn good with TurboTax and I have a free copy).
Please let me know if this date works for you. Most importantly is Mark (obviously) and jrak. Anyone else who's willing to help a brother out also let me know what your availability is.
If you need your taxes done, make sure you have all your documentation (W2's, W4's, mortgage statements, bank interest statements, etc).

Did you get the hot tub in yet?
Or better question, did you get your deck fixed yet?

Well come out to Brads or Rons and you will learn, all you have to do is try, and if you f' it up someone will be there to fix it.

Brad, I was out at Ron's for a little bit yesterday. Do you have directions? I heard you're in Farmington Hills.
Driven in Dearborn

It was another fine meet at Brad's house. I can't wait to see what the pictures I took look like. Thanks for having us over.

Here you go:

Thanks to everyone that showed up! I wouldn't dream of doing something like this without all the support I get from everyone. Friday night I was fearing the install but only an hour into it I was having a great time and felt confident again.
More pics tomorrow, starting at 1:30pm. I've still got burgers/dogs to throw at anyone who isn't sick of them yet.
Thanks!

Nope, we have to get a couple of fittings for the S/C unit and some studs for the exhaust manifolds to the y pipe. but pretty much that's all it needs to be up and running

That reminds me, I need some studs for the exhaust manifolds to the y pipe too. How hard are they to install. I guess you need a torch to get the the old ones out???

we are just replacing them with bolts, Yeah most likely since we deal with all the snow and salt you will need a torch. I broke on in a manifold once and drilled it out slightly smaller than the hole size and was able to back the rest of the stud out and then clean up the threads with a tap. so there is an option for you.
I do happen to have a spare rear manifold if you need it Mav.
