Since NECO won't be up until a week from tomorrow, I figured I'd just start this up right here to avoid withdrawel for us post whores.

So, who had a good time in Indy?

I thought it was supposed to be up either tomorrow or Monday? Don't tell me this is gonna be another 2 1/2 week "delay" like last time.

EDIT: just read Trevor's "update" over on NECO and saw why you said a week. Great, thats just what we need to help get our AZ NECO G2G all planned out, to be cut off from each other until 4 days before the meet.

Skater, did you post that you were broken down in Brookeville? I went through there on I-80...didn't look like there was much there! :sleepy:

I had a great time. Even though the turnout was smaller than last year, everyone got along well with each other, like we're one big happy family :inlove: It was nice meeting some new people in person this year, ie Wade. I just know that we all had fun, even BBOX, with all of those mishaps :lookround:

Breezewood...actually, not even Breezewood, I was about 8 miles from there.

I went to Clarion University, and I went through Brookeville a couple times, though. Yeah, not much there, but even that would've been better than Breezewood...

Bobby...seriously, settle down. So you'd rather have everything done half assed, and not completely done in which Trevor is trying to accomplish? Just chill out, they'll be back up.

Well said Frosty.

Bobby, have a big glass of it, buddy. You'd be the first to complain whenever the forums went down again, so sit on it and let him fix them.

So how's the ankle Ryan? I remember you saying that you were going to go to a doctor about it.

Me thinks he tore some ligaments, and are making some nice bundles on the side of his ankle.

THanks for the support Doug. :suspect:

Karin examined me Saturday night and pronounced me ok, so I don't think there's any ligaments torn. And I don't think I'd have full range of motion in the foot if there was.

i went to the doc today about my side pains, cough, and my toe. Said that the toe either has a small fracture or is broken completely. But there is nothing that they do for them other than tape the toes together. Remember children, always wear shoes when playing drunking tape ball soccer.

as predicted i finished 2nd in the autox. but i did it on the last run, there was a 82 firebird that had the 2nd spot for a bit but after the balls out hit a couple cones run i calmed down and pulled a good run. Finished 9th over all http://www.inr-scca.org/solo2/2006/july9_raw_.htm rusults there

I have my toes taped together, as well. Seems I broke two, if not three of them myself. :P

Made for an interesting drive home, lol... I can only imagine what Ryan went thru...

Tape ball soccer eh? I must have missed it, during my 12 hour slumber Saturday night, heh.

Congrats on the finish Jason

Bleah. So yeah, I had a good time at Cougarfest. However, I think Indianapolis tried to kill me. So a change of venue would be good for next year.

Anyone got any ideas?

Let's not start that debate already... Give us a bit to relax, and we'll be doing the selection the right way, not just a bunch of people throwing random cities out with zero information on WHY.

Awww, you're not fun John. ;)

I'm just bored, and with NECO down for another week, it looks like its gonna stay that way, so I figured we might as well get some ideas flowing. :D

I know. ;) Just gimme a chance to recover a bit, and I'll put up a format of what I think we REQUIRE from every suggestion. I don't just want random cities thrown out there with zero thought, I want useful information, which means if you're going to suggest someplace be ready to do the research for us.

Hehe. No, I'm totally with you man. I've got a few places in mind that I'll look in to while I'm laid up with my lovely ankle, but yeah, I think you're right when you say people need to support why Fest should be held there instead of just throwing out random cities.

Ouch. I've still got sore arm and back muscles. I'm trying to figure out if it's from covering the middle of the deep end during pool volleyball, karting, or a combination of the two.

It wouldn't be CougarFest without this bit of rhetoric the day after.

best part about fest this year... there was ZERO drama. And I mean that among the cougar people.

The security guard, and the stupid families driving into the blocked off section of the parking lot, blocking off Brian from his trailer, then piling their luggage on Rons car... thats just fu*ked up.

but no drama, no trips to the hosipital for alcohol poisoning, and no little "clique" groups this year round.
Great stuff!

Oooooh I was pissed at that stupid bitch. If I hadn't had a bum wheel, I would have been all up in her grill.

The best part was the woman trying to park her car during the photo though.

Those people were ridiculous with their parking!! :suspect: Making them back up and go around the parking lot was great...

This was definitely the most fun I've had at 'Fest so far. Thanks to all of the organizers for a great event!!

Rolling into our group photo once wasn't enough in her Saturn, she then had to cross the parking lot and block off an entire line of Cougars trying to get into the photo. Once they had finally driven around her, she proceeded to attempt a parking spot right next to John's car...while he was standing there. Before she came to a complete stop he was waving a finger at her and shaking his head...I think all of use laughing at him from the other side of the parking lot intimidated her so much that she drove clear to the other side of the hotel to park...it was great. And BBOX, you could have hopped on the luggage cart and I would have wheeled you to the ass-whuppin those people deserved when they dropped their stuff on Ron's car.
