... because it's not like you'd want to buy the high-performance rotors to stop better ...

I need them because my stock rotors are warped from braking at 120mph to 10mph in 1/10 of a mile at the dragstrip. You dont need a fast car to have drilled and slotted rotors. Mainly they're for sport racing. i.e. dragstrips, autocross. Thats why brad needs them as well, from all the quick braking then speeding up. The pro's and cons of drilled and slotted yes they cool quicker which prevents warping, however there's less surface area for the brakes to grab, so they dont stop as good as traditonal rotors.

For me.....

My own headers, lowered with B&G Springs, and either Spax or Billstein struts. a 3L(hope to have about 250+ WHP N/A) Cutting out the spare tire well and a central exit exhaust system(already have the parts) Boxed subframe and new sway bar, custom tube rear control arms and toe arms with Energy Suspension poly bushings. Then I might tint my windows. Oh and don't fprget..... Excelcier flashing light circuit.

Let see other than replacing the spun bearing 2.5 with a runnign 2.5 just to make the ca streetable again.
Then I will install my SVT front sway bar and hopefully find a aussie rear before i take the car apart and be able to convince jason to box my rear sub frame mounts to mount it. Then my suspension is done for good. I would also love to toss a set of jasons headers on if he gets them done by the time he is ready for his 3.0 to go in and we are ready to do my straigh 2.5 drop in.
Possibly gut out the system and put it all into the explorer and if i do that probably strip out the rear seats and spare junk out of the cougar to save some weight since she won't be daily driven anymore...

that is about it, possibly buy an older motorcycle and start playing around with that a little as a first bike.

well cougar spun a bearing due to st200 struts roush springs st200 RSTB, OMP FSTB and suspension techniques front motor mount instert and a 90 degree turn at about 60. So that lead to buying a Diesel Jetta that I then sold and that lead to buying the Explorer sport. Th bike might be urchased in two weeks if i find anything i like at the auction.. but that will be kind hard to work with being in an apartment and all..
