Looks like an electrical fire that started under the dash. The engine looks salvageable :onfire:

I'd say something than electrical. There is no electric in the front or rear bumper. Maybe parked next to a big house fire? None of the engine or interior parts look too damaged, the fire seems to have come from the outside.

According to his post on FC, the fire started near the firewall, right where the primary wiring harness is located. It spread from there into the engine bay further, where it starting pushing flames out the front and rear by the time the fire dept got there to put it out.

Yeah, I saw that ! But it doesn't explain how the rear bumper caught on fire. I don't think he even knows.

Yeah, I guess maybe wind could have pushed the flames under the car and out the back or something. Definately strange that the rear bumper melted and the car didn't assplode.
