 Snappy 2.0 problem
I use the Snappy for percent open area calculations. I haven't used it since 1999, and now I cannot get it to work. It was never disconnected and I have double checked all connections. Everything seems to be OK, but I get the message, "Hardware not found". It is also on a computer Windows 2000 that is not connected to the internet. I have a very important project to complete, and I really need it to work. Help with suggestions. Cathy

Check your computers BIOS setup and make sure your parallell port is still set to EPP or ECC (Enhanced Parallel Port / Enhanced Communication Port) and that this device shows up in the hardware manager of Win 2000. Also make sure it's snugly connected to your computer and that a fresh battery is in the Snappy (or you have it plugged in if you have a 9V adapter)
