I just resurrected a Snappy purchased a number of years ago and learned how to use it to transfer a VHS tape. Video and audio play fine while recording, so I save the piece in AVI Video but only the video plays back in Media Player. Can somebody help me, please?

I didn't know Snappy has a audio feature. Sorry can't help you there

All of a sudden on a new recording I'm able to hear the audio on playback but now I'm having trouble with recording video intermittant failures during transfer procedure. Can't figure that one out as all connections are secure. Somewhere I read that there is a battery in Snappy and since I've had the gadget for 6 or 7 years maybe that's my problem. Will take it apart and see.
